I was walking around Best Buy today and passed by the graphics tablet section...and was made aware of the fact that Autodesk Sketchbook Pro was not only an iPad app. With the purchase of a Bamboo something-or-other, it was possible to get both Sketchbook Express and ArtRage for free. My fiance has a bamboo tablet I use now (mine was a decade old and falling apart), so there was no point in buying another -- so getting a 15 day trial of Sketchbook Pro seemed the better option. I'm not sure I like ArtRage on anything but the ipad, but I had a little more fun with Sketchbook on the computer, as you can see:
One of these days I need to actually figure out what's up with the Machines. Just continuously drawing what I describe as "sentient erector sets" just seems like I'm not really putting them to good use.
But now isn't the time for that. Now is the time for working on my resume some more and applying to jobs while listening to "The Song of Songs" album by Andrew Rose Gregory. It's been stuck in my head for the past few days, so it just makes sense to indulge my ears.
